Community Based Rehabilitation(CBR)

In order to reach the unreached children and adults with developmental disabilities from the BPL families living in the slums and adjoining rural areas of Vadodara, Disha is implementing Community Based Rehabilitation program. Our expert survey team carries out household to household extensive surveys in the above areas and identifies beneficiaries with disabilities. All the beneficiaries under this program receive all the therapies and services including transportation, nutritious meal, uniform and medical intervention free of charge.

These children also take part in fun and leisure activities, art, dance, music, outings and sports activities.

The children who are attending regular education programs are provided need based therapies and services, remedial education and prevocational training.
